| Once you have been riding a bike for 60 years or more, you know that (a)you can't afford to wobble on a 2 wheeled bent even if you are going slowly up a hill (there could be a lorry overtaking just by your right ear) (b) speed bumps and tree roots need smoothing out. Hence you need 3 wheels and a suspension. Your can then go as slowly as the tiddly gears dictate without the slightest wobble. You can also take to the tracks and enjoy a fume free ride in the country in great comfort. The Lepus is an excellent machine and it even folds to fit a hatchback. Take off the hay rack at the back and hang a haversack there to give excellent load carrying ability. |
