DIWA stands for Distance Warning, and this is a very clever system for use with any hub dynamo.
Basically, it comprises a Lumotec Oval front light and a DToplight rear light, both with additional electronics.
The front light is a Senso light - this means that it automatically comes on in the dark (and switches the rear light on too) - very handy for tunnels and underpasses ;-)
Now here’s the clever bit - the additional electronics can detect when you slow down, and they brighten the lights - just like having a brake light. There aren’t any additional things you need to wire up to do this.
The DIWA lights come as a complete set, ready to attach to any standard hub dynamo.
