M-Type:

The M-types have the original Brompton curved bars with a reasonably upright position.

S-Type:

The S-types have straight bars and a more angled stem for a lower, sportier riding position.

Because of the lower bars, there’s a new S-Bag front luggage system.

P-Type:

The P-types have clever multiposition bars and a different stem to give several riding positions - a higher one with the brake levers and a lower more aerodynamic position.

Brompton offer 6 standard off-the-shelf models (listed below), or you can order an A-la-Carte bike with absolutely everything customised to you.

The standard models are:

M3L, £565: 3-speed gears, mudguards, and standard handlebars, with a battery lighting set.

S2L, £575: With a lightweight 2-speed transmission, mudguards, battery lighting set and the sporty S-type bars and stem.

P6R, £685: 6-speed gears, rear carrier, dynamo lighting, mudguards, and the multiposition P-type bars and stem.

Superlight models (Titanium rear frame, forks, seatpost and pedal axle, Tempest Blue, Flamingo or Kew Green mainframe):

M3L-X, £1015: 3-speed gears, superlight frame, battery lighting and conventional M-type bars.

S2L-X, £1025: The sports version of the above - with the S-type bars and stem.

P6R-X, £1135: The bike with (almost) everything! 6-speeds, rack, dynamo lighting, mudguards, multiposition P-type bars and stem, and of course a full complement of Titanium.

Colours:
The S-Types are all black, the M and P-Types are black and silver - but for £25 you can pick a different mainframe colour and for £35 you can pick a different colour for the extremities. This only applies to steel parts of course ;-)

For another £80, a raw lacquer finish is available.
